Pipe Bursting.
A new line, no trench.

We replace failing water and sewer lines by bursting the old pipe in place and pulling a seamless new one through the same path — all from two small access pits.

service overview

Full pipe replacement without digging up your yard

Pipe bursting is the cleanest way to replace a buried water or sewer line that’s cracked, collapsed, leaking or full of roots. Instead of digging a trench along the whole pipe, we open one small pit at each end.

A bursting head is pulled through the old line, breaking it apart and pushing the pieces into the soil around it. Right behind it comes a brand-new seamless pipe, following the same route. Most residential jobs are done in a single day.

who it’s for

Is pipe bursting right for your property?

Pipe bursting is the right call when a line needs to be replaced, not just patched. It’s especially worth it if:

Your sewer line keeps backing up or is full of roots

An inspection showed cracks, breaks or collapsed sections

Your water line is leaking or losing pressure

The pipe runs under a driveway, deck, garage or mature trees

You want to protect landscaping you’ve invested in

Your home still has old, aging service pipes

Pipe bursting questions, answered

Most residential water and sewer line replacements are finished in a single day. Longer runs or tricky access can add a little time, and we’ll give you a clear timeline before we start.

Usually just two small pits — one where the new pipe goes in and one where the bursting equipment pulls it through. Everything in between stays untouched.

We install seamless HDPE pipe. It has no joints along the run for roots to get into, it flexes with ground movement and it’s built to last for decades.

Most residential water and sewer lines can be, but not every situation is the same. An inspection tells us whether pipe bursting is the best method for your line before we quote.

It often works out cheaper overall, because there’s far less excavation and almost no yard or driveway restoration afterward. We’ll give you a clear quote so you can compare.
