A look at recent trenchless water and sewer line work across Calgary and nearby communities — small pits, clean sites and brand-new pipe underground.
Home/Projects
Every photo below is from one of our own job sites. Notice what’s missing: long trenches, torn-up lawns and broken driveways.
This home needed a new water line and a new sewer line. We pulled both in the same visit instead of booking two separate jobs, so the yard was opened up only once.
Not every line runs flat. On these jobs the new water line had to come straight up, once inside a barn and once out by the road. Our rig pulls vertically, so tight spots like these are not a problem.
A 200 foot run of new sewer pipe, joined into one continuous length and pulled through underground in a single pass. No long trench across the property.
We pulled a new water line, backfilled the pit with gravel and repaired the concrete. Left: the backfilled pit. Right: the finished concrete.
A compact excavator opens a single access pit — the only real digging needed to reach the old line.
Our rig sits inside a tidy, protected access pit and pulls the new pipe through without opening the rest of the yard.
Only a small section of concrete was opened, so the rest of the driveway stayed in one piece.
The old pipe is burst in place while a seamless new line follows right behind it along the same route.
The new service line comes through a small, clean opening instead of a full dig along the foundation.
We located the exact trouble spot first, so the dig stayed small and focused on the problem.

Pipe bursting is a trenchless way to replace an underground pipe. A bursting head is pulled through your old line, breaking it apart while a new seamless pipe follows right behind it in the same path. All the work happens through two small access pits, so there’s no long trench across your property.
Most residential water and sewer line replacements are finished in a single day. Longer runs or tricky access can add a little time, and we’ll give you a clear timeline before we start.
Only the two small pits needed to reach the pipe are dug. Lawns, driveways, patios, fences and trees in between are left alone, which saves you the cost and hassle of restoring your yard afterward.
Common warning signs include slow drains, repeated backups, gurgling toilets, sewage smells and unusually green or soggy patches in the yard. A sewer line camera inspection shows exactly what’s going on so you can decide with confidence.
We feed a high-definition camera through your sewer line and watch the live footage as it travels. It reveals cracks, root intrusion, sags, offsets and blockages, and lets us pinpoint exactly where they are.
